The two study lines of geophysics at Department of Physical Sciences are solid earth geophysics and environmental geophysics. The upper atmosphere (ionosphere and magnetosphere) are studied by the division of space physics. Geology and geochemistry are studied at the Department of Geosciences.

Lectures, exercises and demonstrations are the main study methods. Many courses include practical field demonstrations.
